International Exhibition "Metalworking" is organised once every two years and it is the only exhibition event in Belarus devoted to the sphere of machine-tool construction. The Exhibition has gained the status of the leading international forum in byelorussian industry and materially influences the economy of the Republic.

The Exhibition "Metalworking" has become a traditional event and every year attracts attention of bigger number of domestic and foreign producers of machine-tool and instrument production. As the result, 200 companies from 12 countries: Belarus, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Izrael, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Switzerland, Japan, took part in the Exhibition in 2007. The wide circle of participants from many countries of the world testifies that the integration processes are growing and the interest of the foreign producers to the byelorussian market is rising.

The constant quantitative and qualitative growth of the Exhibition, its dynamic development, high commercial results has been estimated at its true. In 2001 the International Exhibition "Metalworking" has been honoured with the Symbol of Exhibition and Fairs of CIS countries and Baltic States.
